Hey everyone! The Sailing to Success podcast recently invited me to speak on their show, and of course, I was only too happy to oblige.
Their podcast is all about helping emerging entrepreneurs grow their business, which as you know, just happens to be my passion and number one expertise.
Let’s just say it was a very good fit.
I got the chance to speak about my own development as an online entrepreneur and the successful businesses that I’ve grown from the ground up.
I was also very happy to be able to give a shout out to my highly influential business coach, Jim Palmer. He truly helped steer me down my current path of success, and I recommend mentorship to anyone looking to take their business to the next level.
Sound, objective counsel. Who doesn’t need that?
We touched on the origin story of Traffic and Leads, and naturally, how I came to be known as One-Click Lindsey.
Nicknames are always best when they are bestowed upon you aren’t they?!
No interview with me would be complete without some helpful knowledge and tips you can use, so we dove into the subject of search engine optimization (SEO), and made the differentiation between the three types of SEO:
- Google local results
- Organic SEO
- Pay per click or Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
Lindsay (not me, the host) was curious to know my opinion on WordPress and my favourite plugins to use.
Hands down, it is YoastSEO, so check it out! Psst, it’s FREE!
I know first-hand how overwhelming Google Analytics can be, but it is valuable input and we do have to pay attention on some level.
For this reason, I recommend another great plugin that goes with WordPress. It’s called Jetpack, it’s also free, and it delivers small packets of analytical information that even the novice can make use of.
Our conversation wove through other online web strategies and interesting tidbits that I know you will love to hear.
For anyone just starting their online journey, or those looking to fine-tune their operations, there is something for everyone.
I always keep this in mind.
So check it out, and enjoy the show!
Until next time, I’m One-Click Lindsey.
